If you are an American Butler or have familial connections with the Butlers in the USA, this is the place for you.
If you’re already a member, we’re always glad to hear from you. If you’re not yet a member we encourage you to join us. By joining the Butler Society USA you will automatically be a member of the Butler Society based at Kilkenny Castle in Ireland.
Why a USA Branch?
Because we have our own history, culture and customs that we need to explore and celebrate together all across our great land. This dedicated USA site is a place for you to communicate and find out more. As a start, we will be including as many of our Newsletters over the years as we can.
We’re an extension of our Irish parent. A wee bit of Ireland in the USA furthering the Society Mission to connect, preserve and unite our family in the USA and around the world. So, yes, it’s true to say that we stay very close to our Irish roots. And here in the USA we’re building our community and our sense of belonging through media, communications and events.
